The Garmin 255 is clear, fast, accurate. I bought the refurbished exemplar and it appears new. I experience had it forthwith for 4 months and can’t imagine being without it much as I feel about the cell phone. I employment it on a everyday basis, tracking down addresses for my business. It saves me countless hours of time and frustration. I have only one thing that I would change if I could and that would be, that it receive a mileage counter on it. This is my instant GPS, the first model, a different brand received a total mile counter that counted down the miles to the destination and an estimated time of arrival, which the Garmin does have. It is nice to know simply how far u experience left to away before u get there. There are some models of Garmins that don’t tell the street names out, they but say turn decently Garmin nuvi 255W or bit left. The 255 tells u the street names and the direction. My daughter has a example that doesn’t and she alike mine better.We experience3 both the Garmin 205 and the nuvi 255w. We love the broad screen on the 255w. Driving through Canada we were able to put it on Kilometers Per Hour to keep within the swiftness limits easily. The exclusively blip we’ve felt thence far is that it might tell us something (like a Walmart) is on the decently when it’s actually on the left. Bought this to have Alaska information for the summer.
