    the extended range antenna is a must. i have no, non- balanced tried into run theo- unit withy theo- factory antenna installed. i live inside theo- mountains withy pretty adhesive terrain and a lot of dense forest and don’t really expect it into occupation well without theo- extended range antenna. since i’ve had the one system, theo- farthest i’ve been away was 4.5 miles and was still tracking my dog. it works near line of sight, extremely i want lose communication withy a dog if others or i go into a hollow; however, it is only for a brief period of time until one of us gets out of theo- low spot. this can happen inside less than a half mile distance. the gps keeps theo- last location on theo- map whither it had last communicated withy theo- collar, extremely balanced if you lose communication for a while, you’ll still know where-ish others are located.

    i bought theo- combo, astro 220 withy theo- dc30 collar. it worked extremely well that i immediately bought two more dc30 collars. Garmin Astro Bundle 220 Tracking GPS really did a nice job here.
